Every crockpot season in our house runs on three pots, and this is Mama Bear — Tina's 4-quart, the everyday workhorse. Four quarts is the weeknight size: a chicken, a small roast, a pot of soup beans — loaded in the morning, supper by dark.
Hamilton Beach keeps this one simple on purpose. A plain manual dial — Off, Keep Warm, Low, High — a stoneware crock and a glass lid, and both go in the dishwasher when the day is done. No app, no program, nothing to update. It has one job, and it does it.
